UNICAL Post-UTME Form for 2023/2024 | How to Apply, Requirements and Deadline

UNICAL Post-UTME Form: The University of Calabar (UNICAL) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2023/2024 academic session supplementary Post UTME screening exercise. This is an excellent opportunity for all suitably qualified candidates to secure admission into the university.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UNICAL Post UTME screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Scoring 140 and above in the Joint Admissions & Matriculation Examination (UTME).
2. Selecting the University of Calabar as their First Choice in their application for admission into the University for the 2023/2024 academic session.

How to Apply for UNICAL Post UTME Form

Registration for the UNICAL Post UTME Form will commence on Monday, July 10th, 2023. Interested candidates can apply through the following options:

E-transact Option

1. Visit any commercial bank nationwide that offers E-transact services.
2. Make the necessary payment and obtain an E-transact PIN.
3. Log into the official UNICAL portal, https://www.Myunical.edu.ng, and click on the UTME Admission Screening link.
4. Follow the instructions on the portal after login to complete the application process.

Buy Post-UTME Pin Online Option

1. Access the UNICAL portal and click on "Buy Post-UTME Pin Online."
2. Purchase the Post-UTME pin online.
3. Log into the portal using the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN.
4. Follow the instructions on the portal to complete the application process.

Scratch Card Option

This option is only available in the following banks within Calabar Metropolis:

• Unical Microfinance Bank
• WEMA Bank
• First City Monument Bank
• Heritage Bank
• Zenith Bank Plc

Follow the steps below to apply using the Scratch Card Option:

1. Visit the UNICAL portal at http://www.Myunical.edu.ng and click on the Screening UTME link.
2. Provide your correct JAMB Registration Number in the designated box.
3. Enter the scratch card pin in the appropriate field.
4. Click on the login button and follow the online instructions.
5. Confirm your entries and click on submit.
6. Print out the completed form for reference.

Application Charges

Candidates are required to pay an Aptitude Test fee of ₦2,000.00. The Aptitude Test will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). It is advisable for candidates to Download and practice with the UNICAL Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers to adequately prepare for the screening exercise.

Important Instructions

Candidates must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Bring the original UTME result slip showing the candidate's photograph to the screening exercise.
• The Post UTME exercise will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT).
• Candidates with disabilities should indicate their special needs during the registration process.
• Impersonation is a serious offense that can lead to up to 5 years imprisonment. Offenders will be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents.
• Failure to participate in the screening exercise will result in the candidate's automatic disqualification.
• It is strongly advised to commence registration early to avoid congestion towards the deadline.
• The University will communicate the venue and time details for the CBT. Candidates are urged to check the portal from Wednesday, August 16th, 2023.
• Ensure that the correct phone numbers are provided during the online form filling, as the University will contact candidates directly.

Kindly note that the application portal will be closed at 12.00 midnight on Sunday, August 13th, 2023.
