Admission Requirements and Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission into the Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State, for the 2024/2025 academic session, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Academic Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.

2. JAMB UTME Score

  • Attain a JAMB UTME score of 170 and above (200 and above for Human Anatomy and Physiology, 210 for Nursing and Radiography, 220 for MLS, and 230 for MBBS).

3. Direct Entry Candidates

  • Direct Entry candidates should have a minimum of a Merit grade in their relevant qualifications.

4. University Choice

  • Select Federal University of Lafia as the first choice when applying.

Application Process

The registration for the FULAFIA Post UTME screening exercise will be open from July 29th, until September 13th, 2024. Applicants are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand naira (₦2,000) only for the screening exercise. To start your application journey, follow these steps:

Step 1: Account Creation

  1. Visit the official FULAFIA portal: https://my.fulafia.edu.ng/
  2. Click on the "APPLY" button to create your account.

Step 2: Application Form

  1. On the application page, select "Post UTME Application 2024/2025."
  2. Enter your JAMB Number, Email, and desired Password. Click "Proceed" to proceed to the login page.

Step 3: Login and Unique ID

  1. Use the same Email and Password from Step 2 to log in.
  2. A unique ID starting with FULUG... will appear. Copy the unique ID and replace the Email with it to log in.

Step 4: Verify and Complete Information

  1. Confirm that the displayed information is accurate.
  2. Complete any missing biodata and save the changes.

Step 5: Payment

  1. Make the payment of ₦2,000 for the screening exercise.
  2. Choose to pay online or at any commercial bank. Online payment options include Mastercard, Bank Branch, USSD, Internet Banking, and eWallet.

Step 6: Payment Verification

  • If you pay online, you'll be redirected to a page to continue registration.
  • For other payment methods, log in to your portal account again. The system will verify your payment and allow you to continue the registration.

Step 7: Provide Details

  1. Enter your SSCE details and scratch card information.
  2. Save the entered information.

Step 8: Confirmation

  1. Return to the portal and refresh the page.
  2. Print out a summary of your application and payment receipts.

Step 9: Await Admission Notification

  • Now that you've completed your application, await notification about your admission status.

Important Notice

Students enrolled in the Federal University of Lafia's Remedial and IJMB programs are also required to participate in the post-UTME screening exercise for admission.
