The Senate of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) has approved the school's resumption of academic activities on Monday, October 31, 2023. This was a follow-up meeting to the Senate's 26th (Special) meeting on October 26th, 2023.

According to the revised academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session, Second Semester Lectures will run for 8 weeks, from Monday, October 31st to Thursday, December 22nd, 2023. The Mid-Semester Break will take place from December 23, 2023, to January 2, 2024. As a result, the Second Semester Lectures will resume for four weeks beginning January 3rd, 2024, and ending January 28th, 2024.

Meanwhile, the 2022/2023 Session's Second Semester Examination begins on Monday, January 30th and runs through Saturday, February 18th, 2024. The merged 2023/2024 and 2023/2024 Academic Sessions begin on Monday, April 3, 2024.
