LASUED Indigeneship Verification Exercise: All Candidates of Lagos State Origin who selected Lagos State University of Education as their first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 170 are hereby informed that registration for the Indigeneship Verification Exercise for 2023/2024 Admission Exercise will begin on Saturday, October 28, 2023, and will end on Thursday, 1st November 2023. The Verification Interview will begin on Wednesday, 1st November 2023, and conclude on Thursday, 2nd November 2023.

Key Dates

The MOP-UP Exercise is set to take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, and Thursday, November 2nd, 2023. This event will be held at the prestigious Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall within the university.


  • Please NOTE that ONLY Candidates who are of Lagos State are eligible for Screening. Candidates in this Category are expected to be CLEARED by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) BEFORE being considered for admission.
  • Please, NOTE that the Indigeneship Verification Exercise does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the  Lagos State University of Education.
  • Opening of Portal for Online Registration, Saturday, October 28, 2023.
  • Screening exercise: Wednesday, 1st – Thursday, 2nd November 2023.
