UNN Academic Calendar - This is to inform all the students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), that the management of the institution has released the academic calendar for the 1st and 2nd semesters of the 2021/2022 academic session.

DECEMBER 2022
- Saturday, 3rd December 2022 – Arrival of students
- Monday, 5th December 2022 – Registration begins for all students
- Tuesday, 6th December 2022 – Lectures begin
- – Orientation for freshmen begins
- Friday, 9th December 2022 – Orientation for freshmen ends
JANUARY 2023
- Tuesday, 3rd January 2023 – Christmas break ends/students return to campus
- Wednesday, 4th January 2023 – First semester lectures continue
- Friday, 20th January 2023 – Registration ends
- – Last day for submission of second semester results to the department.
- – Processing of results begins in the Department.
- Monday, 23rd January 2023– Late registration begins
- Tues. 24th – Fri. 27th January 2023 – Departmental Board meets to approve second-semester results
FEBRUARY 2023
- Friday, 3rd February 2023 – Last day for submission of second-semester results to the Registry (Examinations). Processing of results begins in the Registry
- Friday, 10th February 2023 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.
- – Late registration ends
- Tues 14th – Fri 17th February 2023 – Faculty Board meets to approve second-semester results
- Wednesday, 22nd February 2023 – Senate meets to consider and approve 2020/2021 Degree results
- Friday, 24th February 2023 – Lectures end
- Monday, 27th February 2023 – Revision begins
MARCH 2023
- Friday, 3rd March 2023 – Revision ends
- Monday, 6th March 2023 – Departmental examinations begin
- Friday, 10th March 2023 – Departmental examinations end
- Monday, 13th March 2023 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin
- Saturday, 25th March 2023 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end
- END OF FIRST SEMESTER AND STUDENTS VACATE CAMPUS
SECOND SEMESTER OF 2021/2022 SESSION
APRIL 2023
- Friday, 14th April 2023 – Students return to Campus
- Monday, 17th April 2023 – Registration begins for all students
- Tuesday, 18th April 2023 – Lectures begin
- Friday, 28th April 2023 – Registration ends
- – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Department.
- Processing of results begins in the Department
MAY 2023
- Monday 1st May 2023 – Late registration begins
- Tues 2nd – Fri 5th May 2023 – Departmental Board meets to approve first semester results
- Friday 12th May 2023 – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Registry (Examinations). Processing of results begins in the Registry
- Monday 19th May 2023 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.
JUNE 2023
- Tues 6th – Fri 9th June 2023 – Faculty Board meets to approve first Semester Results
- Friday, 16th June 2023 – Lectures end
- Monday, 19th June 2023 – Revision begins
- Friday, 23rd June 2023 – Revision ends
- Monday, 26th June 2023 – Departmental examinations begin

JULY 2023
