Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) Academic Calendar: This is to notify all students of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, that the administration has released the revised academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. This adjustment was made to accommodate activities that will be impacted by the federal government's election-related holiday. The amended calendar is detailed below.
In light of the upcoming General Elections, the Federal Government has directed that all universities suspend academic activities between Wednesday, February 22nd and Tuesday, March 14th, 2024.
FUPRE Academic Calendar
FIRST SEMESTER
- Wednesday 15th March 2024 – Resumption of academic activities/registration for fresh & returning students.
- Wednesday 22nd March 2024 – Matriculation Ceremony.
- Friday 31st March 2024 – End of registration.
- Friday 14th April 2024 – End of lectures for first semester.
SECOND SEMESTER
- Monday 29th May 2024 – Resumption for second semester.
- Friday 1st September 2024 – End of lectures for second semester
- Monday 4th September 2024 – Revision
- Monday 11th September 2024 – Second Semester examination jamb Portal
