Applicants of the 75th Regular Course (75RC) can now check the date for the screening test at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

NDA Entrance Exam Date

The NDA entrance examination has been scheduled to take place on Saturday 22 April 2023 at designated centres across the country1. The exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (General Ability Test). Each paper will last for two and a half hours and will have 120 questions each. The exam will start by 7:00 am, so candidates are advised to arrive at their centres by 6:00 am.

Required Documents for NDA Screening Exam

Candidates who have successfully applied for the 75RC admission online must bring along the following documents to the exam centre:

  • Acknowledgement Form
  • Screening Test Admission Card
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • Two Postcard-sized (3.5 x 5 inches) photographs
  • Writing materials (biro or pencil)
  • HB Pencil and Eraser

The photographs should show only the candidate's face and chest against a plain background. The candidate's name, state of origin, course chosen, exam centre and signature should be written on the back of each photograph.

Subject Combinations

Candidates are expected to answer questions based on their chosen faculties and courses. The subject combinations for each faculty are as follows:

  • Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject.
  • Faculty of Engineering: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • Faculty of Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other Science subject.
  • Faculty of Science: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology.

Candidates should note that only candidates who score a minimum of 180 in JAMB and a minimum of 60% in the NDA entrance examination will be considered for admission. Candidates who meet these criteria will be invited for further screening tests such as medical examination, physical fitness test and oral interview.
