University of Jos, UNIJOS Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form: This is to inform candidates who chose the University of Jos (UNIJOS) as their institution of first choice and scored 180 and above in the 2024 UTME that the University screening portal will be opened from 10th July 2024 to 21st July 2024, for the UTME and the Direct Entry online screenings.
UNIJOS Post-UTME Screening Eligibility
- Candidates must have at least five credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in your Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.
- Candidates must participate in the Post UTME screening exercise conducted by UNIJOS.
- Providing original copies of your UTME result slip, SSCE result slip or certificate, birth certificate or age declaration, certificate of local government origin, and letter or certificate of good conduct from your village head or a responsible member of your community
- Candidates for the UTME must have chosen the University of Jos as their first choice and scored not less than the institutional cut-off mark of 180, as well as the differential score for various Faculties/Programs as stated below:
- Faculty of Agriculture: Agricultural Science - 180
- Faculty of Arts: All Programs - 180
- Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences: Biochemistry - 200
- Faculty of Clinical Science: Medicine and Surgery - 240
- Faculty of Dental Sciences: Dentistry - 200
- Faculty of Education: All Programs - 180
- Faculty of Engineering: Civil Engineering - 200; Electrical Electronics Engineering - 200; Mechanical Engineering - 200; Mining Engineering - 180
- Faculty of Environmental Sciences: Architecture - 220; All other Programs - 180
- Faculty of Health Science and Technology: Nursing Sciences - 220; Medical Laboratory Science - 220
- Faculty of Law: Law - 200
- Faculty of Management Sciences: Accounting - 200; Business Administration - 200; All other Programs - 180

UNIJOS Direct Entry Screening
This is to inform all candidates who applied for Direct Entry admission into the University of Jos that an online screening exercise will begin from 22nd July, 2024 to 18th August, 2024.
Please keep in mind that only candidates who applied for Direct Entry Admission through JAMB and selected the University of Jos as their First Choice are eligible for the screening.
Candidates who do not complete the ONLINE Screening will not be considered for admission. To participate in the screening process, follow the steps outlined below as UTME candidates.
How to Apply for UNIJOS Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening Forms
Each candidate must pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) (excluding Bank charges) for the screening.
To successfully apply for UNIJOS 2024/2025 Post UTME Form, you need to follow these steps:
Go to the University of Jos Admission Portal at https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/ for the registration procedure as follows:
- Click on “PROGRAMME”
- Click on “UTME/DE SCREENING”
- Enter their JAMB registration number
- Click “Get Started”
- The Candidate will be prompted to select and confirm an easy-to-remember password. Thereafter, a confirmation link will be sent to their email
- The Candidate should accordingly log into their email and click the confirmation link
- The candidate is taken to the login page and continues his/her Screening Registration
- Go to portal.unijos.edu.ng
- Click on “Login”
- Enter your email and password
- Click on “Login”
- The candidate is taken to their personalised dashboard
- Click on “Pay Screening Charge”
- Select the payment option (card, Bank Branch, Internet Banking) then click “Proceed”
- Enter the details requested and follow the prompt
- Upon Successful payment, the user is returned to their dashboard
- Enter five relevant O’level subjects and their grades
- Click “Finish”
- Print the Screening Registration Slip
- Log out and await further communication from the University
Candidates are strongly advised not to make payments at roadside Business Centres. ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE VERIFIED BEFORE ADMISSION PROCESSING.
NOTE:
- The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that any shortlisted candidate who does not have 'O' level results will be rejected. All candidates are therefore advised to go to the nearest JAMB office or accredited CBT centre to upload their 'O' Level results (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB).
- All candidates who do not meet the University screening conditions listed below are encouraged to provide additional information for consideration by other institutions. (It should be noted that providing false information will result in disqualification). You may submit up to two different O’ Level examination results.
- Document misrepresentation/falsification is a serious offence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit only authentic documents. Anyone found guilty of this offence will be automatically disqualified and, in appropriate cases, handed over to law enforcement.
- Candidates are strongly advised to follow the guidelines outlined above as well as the published requirements for admission to the programme for which they are applying.
- Candidates who do not complete the ONLINE Screening will not be considered for admission.
- The screening's online registration portal opened on 10th July, 2024, and will remain open until further notice.
