Applying for Admission
To be eligible for admission at BMU as an institution of First Choice or to change your institution to BMU, you must have obtained a UTME score of 160 and above in the 2024 JAMB UTME. Application Fee
During the application process, you will be required to pay an online application form fee of ₦2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only. The payment can be made conveniently using your ATM debit card through the Interswitch payment platform.
Cut-Off Marks

Screening Method
At BMU, the screening exercise is conducted strictly ONLINE through the evaluation of qualifying results. There won't be a Post UTME, but candidates are required to fill the online application form and upload the following documents during registration:
- 2024 Year’s UTME Result Slip
- O’level Result(s) with credit in the relevant subjects
- WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Scratch Card(s) details as applicable
- B.Sc/HND/ND/NCE/A’Level Certificate (Direct Entry Candidates Only)
- Birth Certificate/Statutory Declaration of Age Certificate
- Certificate of Origin
- Passport Photograph
Direct Entry Admissions
For those with the relevant certificates such as B.Sc/HND/ND/NCE/A’Level (IJMB, JUPEB, and Institute of Baccalaureate) Certificate, there is an option for Direct Entry admission. Additionally, BMU welcomes students from other universities through Inter-University Transfer, provided they meet the appropriate CGPA criteria.
Important Notes
All candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings. Furthermore, it is mandatory to upload your O'Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.
