Fed Poly Ado-Ekiti Post UTME Requirements
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:
UTME Performance: Applicants who participated in the 2023/2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as their first choice must have obtained a Minimum Acceptable Mark (MAM) of 140.
O'Level Requirements: In addition to the UTME performance, candidates are required to possess a minimum of five (5) O'level subjects at Credit level. These subjects should be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings from recognized examination bodies such as SSCE, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB.
Specific Requirements for NABTEB Applicants: Applicants who are applying with NABTEB (NTC) for courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT) must also have a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA). It's important to note that subjects like Book Keeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretarial Studies will not be considered. However, NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) is acceptable for Business-related courses. Please refer to the institution's official guidelines for clarification.
NABTEB General Education: Candidates with NABTEB (General Education) qualifications are eligible to apply for courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT).

Changing First Choice Institution
Candidates who scored 140 and above in the UTME but initially did not choose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as their first choice institution can change their choice to the institution.
Step-by-Step Application Process
Visit the Official Website: Visit the Polytechnic Website at www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on the applicants' section to generate a screening application payment invoice.
Generate Payment Invoice: Click on the "Applicants" section to generate a screening application payment invoice.
Payment: After generating the invoice, proceed to any bank of your choice along with the invoice and make a payment of ₦2,000.00 on the Remita Platform. Alternatively, payment can be made using debit cards (Master Card, Visa Card, and Verve Card) by following the instructions on the invoice generation page. Before making a payment with a debit card, ensure that you print your invoice.
Filling the Screening Form: After payment, return to the School Portal and fill in your screening forms using the RRR number indicated on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and RRR must be in your name.
Review and Submission: Before submitting your forms, take the time to carefully review all the provided information.
Print Acknowledgement Slip and Screening Forms: After submission, ensure to print both your acknowledgement slip and screening forms for your records.
Submission of Forms and Deadline
The application for admission will close on September 15, 2023. Make sure to submit your forms before the deadline. Keep in mind the following points:
