ABSU Post-UTME Screening Schedule: This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into regular degree programmes of Abia State University, for the 2023/2024 academic session, that the Post-UTME screening exercise has been scheduled as follows;

Day 1: Wednesday, 19th October, 2023

  • Faculty of Biological Sciences
  • Faculty of Physical Sciences
  • College of Medicine
  • Faculty of Health Sciences

Venue: Uturu Campus

Venue: Umuahia Location

  • Faculty of Economics & Management Sciences
  • Faculty of Social Sciences

Venue: Uturu Campus

Day 3: Friday, 21 October, 2023

  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Environmental Studies
  • Faculty of Humanities

Venue: Uturu Campus

The screening exercises will commence at 10.00 am each day. Candidates are also advised to ensure they get the ABSU Official Past questions and Answers. This will help them prepare adequately for the aptitude Test. CLICK HERE to get yours.

Candidates Elifible for the Screening Exercise

  • Candidates who chose Abia State University as their 1st Choice, 2nd Choice and those who did not choose the University at all in the UTME. but want to change to Abia State University:
  • Candidates who scored 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME):
  • Candidates who possess the basic five o'level credit passes in accordance with the University entry requirements:
  • All Direct Entry Candidates.

ABSU Post-UTME Screening Registration Procedure

Candidates are expected to register for the screening exercise online by logging into www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng and making e payment of two thousand Naira (42,000) only, in any of the. following Banks:

  1. ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu
  2. Eco Bank Plc
  3. Zenith Bank Plc
  4. Fidelity Bank Plc Union Bank Plc
  5. UBA Plc OR;
  6. Payment via bank debit cards
PLEASE NOTE:

  • Candidates who do not register for the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
  • Further details about the screening exercise can be obtained online at www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng.
  • All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly observed.

The Post UTME applicants are to come with original and photocopies of all their credentials and a passport photograph for the exercise.

How To Avoid Mistakes During the Abia State University Post UTME Registration

  1. Visit a reliable and trustworthy cyber cafe near you.
  2. Before beginning your registration, ensure that you have good and strong network connectivity.
  3. Ensure that you confirm and provide your correct JAMB Registration Number/details. 
  4. Ensure that the photo you want to use on Abia State University's Portal as PASSPORT is clear. Photos with dark backgrounds should be avoided at all cost.
  5. Use a working mobile phone number. You can use any number; it does not have to be the one you used to register for JAMB.
  6. Choose your desired course of study as specified on your JAMB UTME/Change of course form.
  7. Before and after you submit your form, double-check that there are no errors.
