Gombe State University, GSU Post-UTME/DE Screening Form: This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the various Degree Programmes of Gombe State University for the 2023/2024 Academic Session that online registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will begin on Monday, December 4th, 2023, for candidates who chose the University as their First Choice Institution on the JAMB portal.

Candidates Eligible for the Gombe State University, GSU Post UTME Exercise 

1. Candidates who chose the University as their First Choice Institution on the JAMB portal.
2. Scored a minimum of 170 points in the UTME for Degree Programmes in Science, 150 points in Education, and 150 points in Arts and Social Sciences.
3. Have a minimum UTME score of 200 for the Medicine, Pharmacy, and Law programmes. Candidates with less than 200 points, particularly for Medicine, Pharmacy, and Law Programmes, are urged to change to other alternative Programmes as soon as possible, such as;
• A minimum JAMB score of 180 is required for B.Sc. Anatomy, Physiology, or Biochemistry.
• Minimum JAMB scores of 170: B.Sc. Geology, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Botany or Zoology, B.Sc. (B.Ed.) Chemistry, 8lology, Geography, Mathematics or Physics;
• Minimum JAMB score of 170 plus Mathematics inclusion in JAMB combination: B.Sc. Mathematics, Physics or Statistics, Computer Science; B.Sc. (Ed): Mathematics or Physics.
4. Has an NCE/UMB/Advanced Level GCE/Diploma for Direct Entry (Please note that the NCE, IJMB, Advanced Level GCE, or Diploma must be in the same subject as the programme being applied for.

Eligible candidates must pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand naira (₦2,000.00) through the University's online screening portal.

How to Apply for the Gombe State University, GSU Post UTME Form 

Candidates should register for the Online Screening Exercise through the University portal at http://dhrd-gsu-edu.com/admission/.

1. Enter the JAMB Registration Number and click the Get Details button.
2. Pay the Screening Fee online with an ATM/Debit/Credit Card, a bank transfer, USSD, or a Visa QR code.
3. Fill out the form to set up a UTME/DE Screening Account.
4. Click “Register”.
5. The candidate's information will be displayed.
6. Click the Generate Data Form button.
7. A two-page PDF file will be created:
• Page 1 of the PDF contains the candidate's registration information.
• Page 2 contains the Post-UTME Test (CBT) Exams Card for the Candidate.
8. Print the two pages, attach photocopies of all credentials to page 1, and bring them with you to the Physical Screening. The Portal will provide the dates on which Candidates will be screened at the time of registration.

How To Avoid Mistakes During Gombe State University GSU Post UTME Registration

1. Visit a reliable and trustworthy cybercafe near you.
2. Before beginning your registration, ensure that you have good and strong network connectivity.
3. Ensure that you confirm and provide your correct JAMB Registration Number/details. 
4. Ensure that the photo you want to use on Gombe State University's Portal as PASSPORT is clear. Photos with dark backgrounds should be avoided at all costs.
5. Use a working mobile phone number. You can use any number; it does not have to be the one you used to register for JAMB.
6. Choose your desired course of study as specified on your JAMB UTME/Change of course form.
7. Before and after you submit your form, double-check that there are no errors.
