The University of Lagos, UNILAG's Resumption Date For The Continuation Of Academic lectures is Monday, October 24, 2023.
The University of Lagos administration has announced that the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic session will begin on Monday, October 24, 2023.
This comes after the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) decided to call off their strike, forcing the University to reconsider its academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.
It should be noted that on Monday, February 14, 2023, academic staff across federal universities, led by the ASUU, began a nationwide strike, resulting in the suspension of teaching activities at all federal universities, including the University of Lagos.

Lectures will begin on Monday, October 24 and will last four weeks, according to the new academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. All levels and faculties will have first-semester exams between Monday, November 28 and Saturday, December 10, 2023.
The second semester of the academic Session 2023/2024 would begin on January 9, 2024, and end on May 20, 2024.
