UNIPORT Post-UTME Registration Procedure
Vital steps for registration and payment are as follows:
- Input your UTME Registration Number and confirm your pre-loaded UTME details.
- Generate a Remita code for payment using your master, visa, or verve card. Alternatively, print out the payment slip and proceed to any of the following banks with Remita platform: ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK. Make a payment of N2,000.00 only.
- Obtain a Remita receipt displaying an Access Code from the bank teller, confirming your payment.
- Return online and log in with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code on the payment slip.
- Complete the online form as requested and print your Photo Card for clearance during the screening exercise.
- A day before the examination, reprint your Photo Card to stay updated with the necessary information.
- Mark the date and time of your screening, as it is indicated on the Photo Card.
Note: Failure to register within the designated period will render candidates ineligible for participation in the screening exercise.
MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
On the day of the screening, candidates are required to bring the following items:
- A clear, printed copy of the Photo Card obtained online
- A pen
Important Points to Consider:
- The university strictly enforces consistency in names and pictures across various registration documents. Any inconsistency may result in disqualification.
- Candidates' names on their O'Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents must match.
- To be eligible for the exercise, candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age or older by October 2023.
- Prohibited items such as mobile phones, iPads, iPods, walkmans, and similar gadgets will not be permitted in the screening venue or its surroundings.
- The online link for the application form will be deactivated at NOON ON MONDAY, 14TH AUGUST, 2023. Hence, prompt registration is crucial.
- Registration is conducted exclusively online, allowing candidates to register from any location.
- Candidates who initially selected the university as their second choice but now wish to be considered for admission are required to change their first choice to the University of Port Harcourt before SUNDAY, 13th AUGUST, 2023.
- Uploading O'Level results to the JAMB website is mandatory; those who neglect this step will not be considered for admission.
- Valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses must be used during registration.
- Adherence to the designated screening venue and the time mentioned on the Photo Card is imperative to avoid disqualification.
- Parents, guardians, and uninvited security personnel will not be permitted onto the campus during the screening exercise.
