Resumption and Registration for the 2023/2024 Rain Semester
The 2023/2024 Rain Semester examinations will conclude on Wednesday, October 17, marking the end of the previous academic session. Fresh students joining LAUTECH for the 2023/2024 Rain Semester will commence their academic journey on Monday, 23rd October 2023. This date also signifies the beginning of the registration period without any penalties.
Resumption of Stalites and Commencement of Lectures
Returning students, known as stalites, will resume their academic activities on Monday, 23rd October 2023. This day also marks the start of the registration period without penalty for stalites. Lectures for both freshers and stalites will officially commence on Wednesday, 25rd October 2023.
Orientation and Matriculation for Freshers
To provide a warm welcome and essential information about the university, LAUTECH has scheduled the orientation program for new students on Monday, July 24. This event serves as an opportunity for freshers to familiarize themselves with the campus, academic policies, and available resources.
Matriculation Ceremony
A significant milestone in the academic journey of every student, the matriculation ceremony, will take place on Wednesday, August 2. This event symbolizes the official induction of new students into the esteemed LAUTECH community.
Registration Deadlines and Penalties
Freshers are granted a registration period without any penalties until Saturday, 4th November, 2023. After this deadline, late registration with penalties will be enforced.
Registration without Penalty for Stalites
Stalites will have until Saturday, 4th November 2023, to complete their registration without incurring any penalties. After this date, registration with penalties will be imposed.
Registration Deadlines for Freshers and Stalites
The final deadline for freshers to register with penalties is Saturday, 4th November, 2023, whereas stalites have until Saturday, 18th November 2023, to complete their registration with penalties. It is important to note that failure to register by midnight on these dates will result in the loss of studentship for the semester.
Mid-Semester Assessments and Examinations
The mid-semester continuous assessment (CA) test, conducted via computer-based testing (CBT), will commence on 15th January 2024, and conclude on Saturday, 3rd February 2024. This assessment serves as an important evaluation of students' progress throughout the semester.
End of Lectures and Commencement of Examinations
Lectures for the 2023/2024 Rain Semester will conclude on Saturday, 6th January 2024, followed by a lecture-free week starting on Monday, 8th January 2024 and ending on Friday, 12th January 2024. The much-awaited Rain Semester examinations will officially begin on Monday, 15th January 2024, and conclude on Saturday, 3rd February 2024.
Semester Break and Start of Rain Semester
The Rain semester will officially end on Monday, October 2, 2023, marking the beginning of the semester break for students. This break provides a well-deserved period of rest and rejuvenation before the next phase of academic pursuits.
Resumption for the Rain Semester
The semester break will conclude on Monday, 5th February 2024, as LAUTECH prepares to welcome students for the 2023/2024 Harmattan Semester on Tuesday, 6th February 2024. This semester offers fresh opportunities for learning, growth, and exploration.
