Important Dates for Post-UTME Screening

The Post-UTME Screening Exercise is scheduled to commence on the 15th of August and conclude on the 18th of September, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the screening exercise, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Participation: You must have participated in the 2024 UTME or applied through the Direct Entry (DE) mode.

  2. Minimum UTME Score and Educational Qualifications: You should have scored at least 170 marks in the 2024 UTME and possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND), Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE), or achieved Eight (9) Points in IJMB for Direct Entry. Additionally, you need to have at least five O" level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in relevant subjects, achieved in not more than two (2) sittings.

  3. Choice of Institution: You must have selected Nasarawa State University as your First Choice in the 2024 UTME. If Nasarawa State University wasn't your initial First Choice, don't worry! You can change your choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to qualify for the screening.

Registration Process and Payment

Eligible candidates are required to complete the registration process and pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only. Here's how you can proceed:

  1. Visit the Post-UTME Screening Portal: Access the Nasarawa State University 2024 Post-UTME Screening Portal at http://www.ug.nsuk.edu.ng/application.

  2. Create an Account/Profile: Begin by creating your account/profile. Fill in the required information, including your application type (2024/2025 POST-UTME application), e-mail address, and password.

  3. Login and Payment: Log in using the e-mail and password you used to create your account/profile. Proceed to make the payment for the screening through the available payment options.

  4. Complete Personal Details: Fill in your personal and contact details accurately.

  5. Upload Required Documents: Upload the following documents: a) Passport photograph b) A'level Qualification (For DE Applicants Only) c) SSCE details for both UTME/DE

  6. Fill in Scratch Card Details: Provide the details of the scratch card you purchased.

  7. Application Completion and Printing: Complete the application and print out the Application Summary and payment invoice.

O' Level and A' Level Result Upload on JAMB Profile

Besides the post-UTME registration, you are also required to upload your O" Level / A" Level results on your JAMB profile. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit JAMB Accredited CBT Centres: Visit JAMB accredited CBT centres to upload your "O" Level / "A" Level results on your JAMB profile.

Admission Acceptance and Screening Mandatory

Admission Acceptance and Responsibilities

Candidates are advised to vigilantly monitor their admission status on their JAMB profile. A window of four (4) weeks is granted for candidates to accept their approved admissions. Failing to comply with this directive will result in the deletion of the admission offer, rendering the candidate ineligible for future admission considerations.

Lastly, participating in the POST-UTME Screening is MANDATORY. Failure to participate will result in non-consideration for admission.
