The admission is conditional on meeting the following requirements:
- A candidate MUST ensure that his or her O'Level results are uploaded to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
- Each candidate MUST follow the admissions process through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System until he receives the JAMB admission letter.
- He must complete the APPLICATION FORM via the University portal and provide the necessary information to facilitate communication between the candidate and the University until the JAMB admission letter is obtained.
- Please be advised that failure to upload O' Level results on the JAMB admission portal will result in candidates being denied admission.

Alternatively, Al-Qalam University Katsina prospective students can also check their admission status on the JAMB Admission Status-checking portal by following the steps outlined below:
- To access your AUK admission status, go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Enter your Jamb username and password to access your profile.
- Scroll down to the 'Check Admission Status' tab and click it.
- Choose your exam year and enter your registration number in the appropriate column.
- Finally, select 'Check Admission Status' to view your admission status.
