UNIOSUN Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening Form: The Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially commenced the online availability of Application Forms for the Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercises. This announcement is a vital update for all potential candidates seeking admission into the undergraduate programs at UNIOSUN.
Eligibility for UNIOSUN Post UTME Screening
Prospective candidates interested in participating in the UNIOSUN Post UTME Screening Exercise must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Chose Osun State University as your first choice.
- Attained a minimum score of 160 in your UTME.
- For courses such as Accounting, Business Administration, and Political Science, a score of at least 180 is required.
- Candidates aspiring to study Nursing, Medicine, Law, Common and Islamic Law need a minimum score of 200 to be considered.
For those who chose the mentioned courses but scored below 200, don't fret! You have the opportunity to switch to another relevant program of your choice.
Academic Qualifications
UNIOSUN holds its standards high. To be admitted, you should have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects. However, for programs like Medicine, Nursing, and Law, these credits should be achieved in just one sitting. Direct Entry candidates are also welcomed with a minimum of a Lower credit.
Application Process
Follow these steps to successfully apply for the UNIOSUN Post UTME Form:
- Visit the UNIOSUN Post UTME Portal at http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng.
- Familiarize yourself with the registration guidelines and instructions.
- Fill out the application form online and submit it.
- Print two (2) copies of the application form for your records.
Application Fee
A non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 (two thousand Naira) is required for the Post UTME Screening. Payments can be made through the Interswitch Web PAY platform using your ATM cards (Mastercard, Verve card, and Interswitch-enabled Cards).
Direct Entry Candidates
If you're applying as a Direct Entry candidate, follow the same process as mentioned above. Ensure you read and meet the admission requirements of the university before applying to any program. Academic Transcripts should be forwarded to the Registrar of Osun State University no later than Friday, 6th October 2023.
Change of Institution
If you're considering switching from another institution to make Osun State University your first choice, you're in luck! You're eligible to register for the Post-UTME Screening exercise. For those who initially chose UNIOSUN as their first choice but couldn't find their names on the list, use the "OTHER CHOICE" option during registration. Make sure to provide accurate information for verification purposes.
Note:
UNIOSUN's admission process for the 2023/2024 academic session will be based on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), developed by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). To enhance your chances of admission, upload your O'Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal before the closing date.
Application Timeline
The application process for the UNIOSUN Post UTME Form will be open from Monday, 7th August at 24.00 midnight to Tuesday, 10th October 2023 at 12.00 noon.
Closing Date: The submission of application forms will be closed at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, 10th October 2023.
