FUTMINNA Post UTME/DE Screening: Key Details

The FUTMINNA Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE), commonly known as the FUTMINNA Post UTME/DE Screening, will be conducted from Monday, 17th July 2023, until midnight on Sunday, 27th August 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for FUTMINNA Post UTME & DE Screening

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must have selected FUTMINNA as their first choice in both UTME and DE categories. Additionally, candidates are expected to have achieved a minimum score of 150 in the 2023 UTME. However, some courses may have higher cut-off marks, which can be found by visiting the FUTMINNA 2023/2024 ADMISSION CUT-OFF page.

It is crucial for candidates to meet the UTME subject combination requirements specified in the JAMB Brochure. Moreover, all applicants must possess a minimum of five 'O' Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language.

Furthermore, DE candidates are required to have obtained a minimum of Lower Credit at the National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma levels, or Merit at the NCE level. Candidates who do not meet these requirements have the option to switch to a different course that aligns with their qualifications, subject to a processing fee of N2,000.

How to Apply for FUTMINNA Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening

To initiate the application process, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 via the REMITA platform. The application can be submitted through the FUTMINNA application portal.

DE/UTME Candidates

  1. Click on "2023/2024 UPASE."
  2. On the subsequent page, select 'UPASE- DE/UTME Login.'
  3. Enter your JAMB registration number.
  4. Provide one of your names.
  5. Click on 'Login.'
  6. Upload your O' level result(s).
  7. DE candidates should also upload their Higher level result(s).
  8. If your UTME / O’ level subject combinations do not meet the minimum requirements for the course registered with JAMB, select an alternative course from the list of Departments.
  9. Click on 'Proceed to payment gateway.'
  10. Confirm your entries.
  11. Click on the 'payment link' button to proceed to the payment gateway.
  12. Payment can be made using Debit Card (MasterCard – preferred), Verve (enabled for online payment), or at a Bank branch (by generating RRR from the application portal).
  13. Enter your ATM Debit card details (Card number, expiry date, CVV 2, i.e., the 3 digits behind your card, and pin number).
  14. If the payment is successful, the screen will display all the data you entered previously.
  15. Click on the 'Print' button to obtain a physical copy of the document.

Candidates are strongly advised to ensure that the 'O' Level results uploaded on the University website match the results uploaded on the JAMB website. Any discrepancies or false declarations may lead to disqualification at any stage of the admission process.
