Admission Eligibility for CONAMKAT Basic and Community Midwifery Programs
- Basic Midwifery (Direct Entry) is only for those who have been registered and licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to practice as Registered Community Midwives.
- Basic Midwifery (DIRECT ENTRY) and Community Midwifery; applicants MUST be Katsina State residents.
- Applicants for Community Midwifery MUST have at least four (4) credits in at least two (2) sittings, including English Language, Biology, and any two of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, and/or NABTEB.
- Basic Midwifery and Direct Entry Applicants MUST have at least five (5) credits in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent ( all in NABTEB).
- Awaiting Result is NOT ACCEPTED
How to Apply for Admission to the CONAMKAT Basic and Community Midwifery Programmes
Form Fee:
- Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira ₦2,500, (excluding bank charges) for Basic and Community Midwifery;
- Five Thousand, One Hundred Naira ₦5,100 (excluding bank charges) for Basic Midwifery(for DIRECT ENTRY).

- Select "Apply Online".
- Click on Application Instructions to read and follow the Online Application instructions and guidelines.

1. Entrance Exam:
- Basic Midwifery: Saturday, December 17, 2023
- Community Midwifery: Wednesday, December 21, 2023
2. Entrance Exam Result Release: Friday, January 6, 2024
3. Interview:
- Basic Midwifery Applicant: Tuesday, January 10th to Wednesday, January 11th, 2024
- Community Midwifery Applicant: Thursday, January 12th to Friday, January 13th, 2024
4. Admission List Release: Friday, January 20, 2024
5. Registration: Wednesday 1st – Tuesday, 28th February, 2024
6. Commencement of Lectures: Monday, 6th March 2024
