Essential Aspects of FUNAAB’s 2024/2025 Admission Exercise
If you aspire to join FUNAAB, it's crucial to understand the admission requirements. Here's what you need to know:
General O’Level Requirements:
- You must have a minimum of five (5) O’Level Credits in relevant subjects.
- These credits should be obtained in one or two exam sittings such as SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
- Before applying, review FUNAAB’s Brochure here to check specific degree requirements.
UTME Candidates:
- Select FUNAAB as your top preferred institution on the JAMB form.
- Achieve a minimum score of 160 marks in the 2024/2025 UTME.
Specific Program Requirements:
Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine:
- Obtain five (5) SSC Credits in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology from up to two sittings.
- Agricultural programs accept a Pass in Physics.
- A Pass in Biology and a Credit in Agricultural Science are only acceptable for Agricultural courses.
- Agricultural Science isn't a substitute for Biology.
- Water Resources Management candidates need a Credit in Geography.
Entrepreneurial Studies:
- Obtain five (5) O’level Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, a vocational/science subject, and any of Economics, Geography, or another commercial subject.
Direct Entry Screening for FUNAAB:
- You must have a minimum of upper credit or its equivalent.
- Select FUNAAB as your top institution in JAMB.
- Ensure you meet the O’Level, OND, NCE, or HND requirements before paying. Non-refundable if requirements aren’t met.
Direct-Entry Specific Program Requirements:
Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine:
- Beyond O’Level, you must have UPPER CREDIT at ND or HND and CREDIT at NCE.
- Must have at least two A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology/Zoology/Botany.
Entrepreneurial Studies:
- Beyond O’Level requirements, you need UPPER CREDIT at OND/HND or CREDIT at NCE in a related field.
- Alternatively, two (2) A’level passes or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, and other Commercial, Vocational, or Science subjects are acceptable.
Please note that FUNAAB doesn’t accept LOWER CREDIT for Direct Entry.
Transcript Submission Deadline:
- DE candidates must submit their transcript or certified Statement of Results to the Registrar, FUNAAB by Friday, 6th September, 2024.
How to Apply for FUNAAB Post UTME Form
Applying for FUNAAB's Post UTME form is a simple online process. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth application:
- Visit the FUNAAB Admission Portal.
- Input your JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Numbers.
- Generate and print your Application Invoice, including the REMITA Reference Number and other relevant details.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000.00 (excluding REMITA charges) at any bank that accepts REMITA payment or online through debit cards, Internet Banking, or directly on the REMITA website.
- Once paid, return to the University’s Admission Portal, log in, and accurately fill out the e-application form.
- Review your personal information (sourced from JAMB) and add necessary details where required.
- Review your application on the acknowledgment page before submitting it.
- Print and retain the Application Form featuring your passport photograph.

- Application starts: Thursday, 1st August, 2024
- Application ends: Friday, 13th September, 2024
